Donald Ohlen studied art and design at UCLA, where he earned a BFA in painting. His background in fine art informs all his design decisions, allowing him to mix elements of design like paints in his palette. With 35 years experience in design, he is well qualified to help clients achieve their goals in creating environments that are perfectly suited for them. Donald believes in getting to know his clients personally in order to understand the way they live and to design fo r their individual needs.

Donald Ohlen's guiding philosophy is that the creation of an environment is a process, a collaboration, with the client. Donald often says, "I want people to live and work in surroundings that they create with my help. I want my clients to have things they are attracted to and love." Getting the project "right" by listening closely to the client's priorities and expectations is a priority of his company.
